If the source document does not have any context and it is not entirely clear how to translate it, you can click Request Context and ask your project manager to put some explanations to the string.
Enter the translation into the field under the original text on the central section and click Save. You will be automatically redirected to the next string.
Under the translation area, there is a list of suggestions made by other participants, from Translation Memory and machine translation engines (Microsoft Translator, Google Translate or Yandex.Translate). Having clicked on one of the suggestions, it will automatically appear in the translation area. Refer to it as a basis for your own suggestions.
If you see, that there is already a correct suggestion, vote for it. This will help proofreader to approve the translation. To vote for several translations — better switch to Voting Mode.
Proofreaders can approve the best translations by clicking on the checkbox. If you are a proofreader and plan on checking and approving more than one translation — switch to Proofreading Mode.

If there is a mistake in the source string, the translation is wrong, or some additional context is required, you can report the difficulty to the project manager by checking the Issue option. The problem is reported to the project managers, so they can correct mistakes or add context.

Translating RTL Languages
When translating between LTR and RTL languages, some elements in the translation field in the Editor might not be displayed the same way as they will be once exported.
To be sure that RTL translations will be displayed correctly in the exported file we recommend making translations the following way:
- Click Copy Source under the source text (or Alt+C key combination).
- Translate the source texts into the target language.
- Leave variables, tags, etc. unchanged in the translation, even if they look wrong. They will be in the right positions in the exported file.
