Note: The Project Status report shows information about all the translations made in the project (including duplicate translations made by the same translator, removed translations, etc.).

You can find key statistics regarding your project at the top of the page:

  • Size – the total amount of text in the project.
  • Translatable – the amount of text visible to translators.
  • Source language – the source language of your project.
  • Target languages – number of the target languages in your project.
  • Members – number of project participants.
  • Managers – number of project managers.
  • Hidden – the amount of text hidden from translators. The owner and managers can see them.
  • Duplicates – the amount of text in strings repeating within the project.

Reviewing Activities

You can review activities based on four time periods: day, week, month, and year. Comparisons shown in percentage are counted by comparing the chosen period of time to the same previous period of time (e.g., if you select a month, the current month would be compared to the previous one).

Translation Forecast

The translation forecast section allows you to better plan the overall translation process. The report is based on the project activity for the last 14 days, and it is most useful in case there is more or less steady progress done each day. The line ending on the chart indicates an approximate time the specific language translation may be completed.

Cost Estimate

Use this report to plan your budget and count the approximate cost of translations. Set the translation and approval rates to see the cost for untranslated and not approved strings in the project.

Note: Final translation cost might differ due to various factors such as added or deleted texts, multiple people translating the same string into the same language (both of them will be counted in the Translation Cost), and others.

Geração de um Relatório

To generate the Cost Estimate report, follow these steps:

  1. Select the currency you need and the report unit.
  2. Set your rates for translations and approvals.
  3. Select the target language you are counting these rates for, a time period during which the source text was modified or added to your project, needed source files, and labels. You can use either General Filter or Task Filter to generate a report based on work to be done within a specific task.
  4. Clica Gerar.
Note: Rates are automatically saved after you click Generate.

Rate Templates

If you plan to work with multiple rate configurations, save them as templates by clicking Save as > New rates template, then specify the template name and click Save. With saved templates, you’ll be able to quickly switch between different configurations for report generation.

Relatório de Modo Simples

This mode is used by default and allows you to count estimated translation and proofreading costs.

Podes definir as seguintes taxas:

  • Translation (No Match) – for each translation made by hand. If the string has several translations made by the same person, only one will be counted. If the string has several translations made by different people, each of them will be counted.
  • Translation (TM Match) – for translations made using Translation Memory suggestions with Perfect (source strings are identical to TM suggestion by text and context) or 100% (source strings are identical to TM suggestion only by text) match. Repetitions are counted at the rate you set for TM matches.
  • Approval – for each approved translation.

Reports Simple Mode

When the report is generated, you’ll be able to see the following:

  • O custo para tradução e revisão.
  • The amount of untranslated texts.
  • The amount of untranslated texts with no TM match and repetitions.
  • The amount of texts with possible TM match.
  • The amount of repetitions - Perfect and 100% matches found among the untranslated strings that potentially can be added to TM.
  • The amount of not approved texts.
  • The estimated amount of savings for translations made with TM suggestions.
  • Table with the list of untranslated and not approved files in the project. Columns include the amount of untranslated, not approved, having 100% TM Match text and repetitions in each listed file.

Relatório de Modo de Correspondência da MT Difusa

This mode allows you to set rates for translations with Translation Memory match suggestions of different similarity percentages.

Podes definir as seguintes taxas:

  • Translation (No Match) – for each translation made by hand. If the string has several translations made by the same person, only one will be counted. If the string has several translations made by different people, each of them will be counted.
  • Translation (with match from Translation Memory) – for translations made using Translation Memory suggestions with Perfect (source strings are identical to TM suggestion by text and context), 100% (source strings are identical to TM suggestion only by text), and other text similarity percentage of TM matches. Repetitions are counted at the rate you set for 100% TM matches.
  • Approval – for each approved translation.

Reports Fuzzy TM

To adjust the range of text similarity percentage, click on the default percentage and apply the range you need.

Reports Adjust Range

When the report is generated, you’ll be able to see the following:

  • O custo para tradução e revisão.
  • The amount of untranslated texts.
  • The amount of untranslated texts with no TM match and repetitions.
  • The amount of texts with possible TM match.
  • The amount of repetitions - Perfect and 100% matches found among the untranslated strings that potentially can be added to TM.
  • The amount of not approved texts.
  • The estimated amount of savings for translations made with TM suggestions.
  • Table with the listed amount of Perfect, 100%, and three other ranges of similarity percentage of TM matches found within the project.
  • Table with the list of untranslated and not approved files in the project. Columns include the amount of untranslated, not approved, having TM Match text and repetitions in each listed file.

Reports Fuzzy

Calcular Correspondências Internas Difusas

Internal Fuzzy Matches - Fuzzy TM matches found among the untranslated strings, that potentially can be added to TM. For example, if the first string in the file is Validate your username, and the last one is Validate your username again, there will be an internal fuzzy match.

To get a more deliberate report that includes a prediction of internal fuzzy matches, select Calculate Internal Fuzzy Matches.

Calculating Internal Fuzzy Matches

This way, all the internal matches would be counted to see how many strings can be added to TM if the strings are translated one by one as listed. Keep in mind that calculations are approximate because strings might be translated in a different order.

Note: Repetitions would be counted at the rates you set for the Translation with TM match suggestion.

When the report is generated, you’ll be able to see the following:

  • O custo para tradução e revisão.
  • The amount of untranslated texts.
  • The amount of untranslated texts with no TM match and repetitions.
  • The amount of texts with possible TM match.
  • The amount of internal fuzzy matches.
  • The amount of not approved texts.
  • The estimated amount of savings for translations made with TM suggestions.
  • Table with the listed amount of TM and Internal Matches of different similarity percentages within the strings in the project.
  • Table with the list of untranslated and not approved files in the project. Сolumns include the amount of untranslated, not approved, having TM Match and Internal Match text in each listed file.

Translation Cost

Use this report to calculate the actual translation cost to pay translators and proofreaders.

Geração de um Relatório

To generate the Translation Cost report, follow these steps:

  1. Select the currency and the report unit.
  2. Set your rates for translations and approvals.
  3. Select whether to calculate costs based on the project member’s role. If you select this checkbox, all the translations and approvals made will be displayed, but the costs will be calculated based on the role of the project member, which means that costs for translations are calculated only for translators, costs for approvals – only for proofreaders.
Note: Contributions of the project members who are currently blocked or with no access to the language are also listed but not included in the cost.
  4. Select the period during which translations and approvals were made in your project, group the report by language or by a member, select a specific member of all members and select needed source files. You can use either General Filter or Task Filter to generate a report based on work done within a specific task.
  5. Clica Gerar.
Note: Rates are automatically saved after you click Generate.

To find a specific member, use the search field next to the drop-down menu. To open the member’s profile page, double-click on the name.

A lista tem as seguintes colunas:

  • Name – a translator’s full name and username.
  • Languages – project languages.
  • Translated – the amount of translated source content.
  • Target Words – the amount of translated target content.
This parameter is not available for the strings report unit because the amount of source and translated strings is always the same.
