Falls ein Projektleiter den öffentlichen Download für die Offline-Übersetzung aktiviert hat, können Sie die Projektdateien für diese Übersetzung herunterladen.
Using Download option, you will get a ZIP archive with all project files containing translations.
Achtung! Bei allen unstrukturierten Dateiformaten (wie z.B. HTML, einfacher Text, Markdown, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker oder Webxml) können die Übersetzungen unmöglich im selben Format hochgeladen werden.
Download option is useful in case you want to test the product’s localized version.
Using Download in XLIFF, you will get all source strings and already existing translations in a single file. This way is more convenient, as it does not require to open each file separately to translate. XLIFF files are supported by the majority of desktop localization tools.
For all file formats that do not have a defined structure (such as: HTML, Plain Text, Markdown, OpenOffice, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Adobe FrameMaker, Webxml) the translations upload in the same file format is impossible.
However, there is a possibility to do the offline translation for all file formats having downloaded existing content in the XLIFF file. For the file types, translations to which can not be uploaded in the usual way, Upload Translations option will be called Upload XLIFF Translations.
XLIFF file with translations can be uploaded in the following way:
By default, translations that match the original strings, as well as translations that are identical to the existing ones, are skipped during the upload. Configure the system behavior checking appropriate options in the pop-up that appears.
